At The Ethnographic Edge, we have an open, rolling call for papers throughout the year. Our closing date, yearly, for submitted papers is 15 June (occasionally extended). We are looking for well researched qualitative work that deals in some way with any and all aspects of ethnography. That includes visual, critical, performance, auto-, duo-, collaborative-ethnographies themselves; papers about ethnographic practice, ethics, problematics; papers about method, about praxis, about social justice as envisioned within and regarding ethnographic practice. We welcome debates about such topics as "Who owns ethnography?", "How has classical ethnography advanced/affected colonial practices?", "Are there tangible differences (and similarities) between Northern and Southern Hemisphere ethnographies, ethnographic practice, and power?" And more. Please abide by the style rules (Chicago) when submitting.
